CTET 2020 July Exam Notification Released

CTET 2020 Application form has been released on 24th January 2020 through Online mode by CBSE on the official website. The exam can be held by 5th July 2020. The exam dates have been updated as the official notification has been released by the CBSE. CBSE has released the CTET 2020 notification for CTET July exam at the official website of ctet.nic.in.

  1. Commencement of Online Application:24-01-2020
  2. Last date for submission of Application:24-02-2020
  3. Date of CTET July 2020: 5th July 2020
How to Apply
  • STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
  • STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
  • STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
  • STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
  • STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking
  • STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
Online Uploading of Scanned Images
  1. Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory.
  2. Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  3. Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
  4. Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  5. Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
  6. Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).

THE SCHEDULE OF CTET- JULY, 2020 IS GIVEN BELOW:
(The Paper-l will be held in the morning session and Paper-II in the evening session)

ELIGIBILITY

The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET.
 
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
                                              OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the
NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
                                                  OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
                                               OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
                                               OR
“Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” OR

who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatory undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by
whatever name known).
                          OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
(B.Ed).
                           OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
                         OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
                      OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year
of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
                OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
                        OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
