AP DEECET is popularly known as “Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test”. The exam is conducted for those students who intend to take admission in two years Diploma in Education at Government District Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. 1. Date of Notification Released:20.05.2020
2. Payment of application fee through online:21.05.2020
3. Submission of application through online with payment of fee:05.06.2020
4. Last date for payment of application fee through online: 04.06.2020
5. Last date of receipt of filled in application through online:05.06.2020
6. Downloading of Hall tickets: 19.06.2020
7. Commencement of  Test:23.06.2020to 24.06.2020
8. Announcement of Results:29.06.2020
9. First phase of Counseling:03.07.2020 to 12.07.2020
10. Second phase of Counseling:17.07.2020to 22.07.2020

AP DEECET 2020 Eligibility

Before beginning to fill the online application form students must check their eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of AP DEECET 2020 is as follows:

1. Mathematics:- Those who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level

2. Physical Science: - Those who studied Physics and Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate
                                      level
3. Biological Science: - Those who studied Botany and Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level

4. Social Studies: - Those who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History,
                               Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level

Note: The candidates who passed Intermediate with Vocational Courses are not eligible.

Scheme of Entrance Test:

The Question Paper of DEECET-2020 consists 100 marks with objective questions.

Part- A (60 Marks)
Part- B ( 40Marks)

Subjects:

 Part- A (60 Marks)

1. Teaching Aptitude- 5 Marks
2. General Knowledge- 5 Marks
3. English- 10Marks
4. Telugu- 10Marks
5. Maths- 10Marks
6. General Science -10Marks
7. Social Studies -10Marks

Part- B ( 40Marks) is optional and any one of the following subject

1.Maths 40 Marks
2.Physical Science 40 Marks
3.Biological Science 40 Marks
4.Social Studies 40 Marks
