The AP State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has announced
the schedule for recruitment of personnel for various categories in the
Police, Prisons, Fire and Prosecutions Department.
In a release,
Chairman Kumar Vishwajeet said a total of 3,137 persons would be
recruited and the permissions for the same were accorded by the State
government recently.
The board also issued a notification to this
effect and online application service will be made available from 3 pm
on November 5 on slprb.ap.gov.in for applicants of sub-inspectors,
reserve sub-inspectors, station fire officer and deputy jailer posts.
The service will end at 5 pm on November 24 at 5 pm.
For the
applicants for the posts of the police constable, prison warden and
firemen, the online application will be available from 10 am on November
12 and close by 5 pm on December 7. Detailed notification for these
posts would be released soon, Mr. Vishwajeet said.
The board is
going to fill as many as 150 sub-inspector (SI) posts in civil, 75
Reserve SI posts in armed reserve, 75 Reserve SI posts in APSP, 20
station fire officer posts, 10 deputy jailer (male) and four deputy
jailer (female) posts and 50 posts of assistant public prosecutors.
Also,
posts of 1,600 police constable (PC) in civil, 300 PC in armed reserve
and 300 PC in APSP, 100 warder (male) and 23 warder (female), 400
firemen and 30 driver operators will be filled.
Preliminary exam
Candidates
can fill the applications online and make online payment of ₹600 for SI
and equivalent posts and ₹300 for police constable and equivalent
posts.
The preliminary exam for the applicants of SI, RSI,
station fire officer and deputy jailer will be held on Dec. 12 and for
other applicants, it will be held on January 1.
