AP Grama / Ward Sachivalayam Syllabus, Selection Process, Exam Pattern

Applications are inviting from the eligible candidates for posts of AP Grama / Ward Sachivalayam for various positions in different departments for total post of 1,28,589 in both urban and rural areas. The minimum qualification for any post is degree with computer knowledge.

  1. Commencement of  Online Application: 27-07-2019
  2. Last date for payment though online is: 10.08.2019
  3. Date of Exam: 1st September 2019
Fee Structure
  • For OC candidates: Rs:200/- (Application Fee) +Rs:200 (Exam Fee) +Rs:100 ( If you apply for non local)
  • For BC / SC/ ST / PHP Candidates: Rs:200/- (Application Fee) Only. No other Fee.
Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs and PHs or as per rules. In the event of Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribe candidates not coming up for selection with the existing minimum prescribed for selection in the examination conducted their selection shall be considered on the basis of rank with reference to their performance in the OMR based written examination irrespective of the marks secured.

Exam Pattern
  1. Each Question Papers Consists of 150 Question for 150 Marks. 
  2. There are Two sections in Question Papers.
  3. Part-A consists of General Studies with Respect to AP
  4. Part-B consist of Respective subjects questions depending on posts.
  5. Each question carries 1 Marks.
  6. For each wrong answer carry negative mark.
Selection Process
  • Each District is the unit of appointment. District Selection Committee (DSC) is the selection authority and the District Collector is the appointing authority. The DSC will follow the principle of order of merit and the selection process is carried out with utmost regard to secrecy and confidentiality so as to ensure that the principle of merit is scrupulously followed.
  • The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the OMR based written examination, to be held as per the scheme of examination.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, STs and PHs or as per rules.
  • In the event of a candidate getting selected to a post, he/she should stay/reside in the village where he/she is posted.
