What is Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2018?

Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2018 invites applications from 1st year degree/diploma students. The scholarship aims to provide educational guidance and financial assistance to bright and needy students for pursuing degree or diploma courses.
 

 

Who is offering this scholarship ?

The scholarship is being provided by the Sant Nirankari Mandal.

 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

• The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than INR 3.50 Lac.
• The applicant must have secured 60% and above marks in class 10 or 12.
• Students who are studying in the 1st year of B.A, BSc, B.Com, Diploma in Engineering, Hotel Management, BBA, BCA, M.Com, M.A., MCA, Diploma/Degree or Training in any Sport, Instrumental Music/Vocal Music courses from a recognised institution in India.
• The applicant must be a regular or correspondent student. 

Note: In special circumstances, needy students who have not secured 60% marks may be considered for the scholarship.

What are the benefits ?

Eligible students with 60% or above marks will get 100% tuition fee assistance.
Eligible students with 50% to 59% marks will get 50% tuition fee assistance.

What are the documents required for the Baba Gurbachan Singh Scholarship Scheme 2018?

• The latest copy of pay slips & IT returns of all earning members of family or copy of family income certificate issued the Area SDM or any other authorised officer.
• The offer or acceptance letter for the applied course.
• Mark sheets and certificates of class 10 & 12 or university courses.
• The latest copy of fee receipts issued by university/institution.
• Details of complete academic expenses including tuition fee, library, hostel, books, etc., duly signed by the Principal of the institute.
• A certificate by the institution mentioning that candidate has not been granted any other scholarship, the student has not taken admission under Management/Convener quota or any other quota & annual family income of student is less than INR 3.5 Lac.
• Copy of Ration card/Aadhaar card/Voter ID/ Pan card or any other residential proof.
• A copy of passbook and a canceled cheque of saving bank account of the applicant.
